Bridge-Builders Conflict Resolution, Mediation & Restorative Justice Services was born from a passion Vincent had over 20+ years ago after graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Counselling. Initially planning to pursue a Master's in Counselling, Vincent instead embarked on a career in public service, focusing on community engagement. After 20 years and more than 100 community engagement projects across Metro Vancouver, his passion was reignited, prompting him to follow his heart.
In addition to his BA in Counselling, Vincent holds certificates in Collaborative Conflict Resolution - JIBC, Restorative Justice, International Association for Public Participation - IAP2, UBC Leadership, and Foundations of Effective Management - JIBC. He is also trained in Project Management/Microsoft Project - JIBC, Masterful Facilitation, Structured Decision Support and Relational Wisdom 360.
His extensive experience leading highly sensitive community engagement projects throughout Metro Vancouver and working with elected officials, business leaders, residents, and key stakeholders related to community projects, and individuals within the criminal justice system equipped him with a deep understanding and unique perspective related to conflict resolution, mediation and restorative justice.
He volunteers at the Abbotsford Restorative Justice and Advocacy Association and Cloverdale Foodbank. Recently he began working on an auxiliary basis at the City of Burnaby RCMP Restorative Justice office. Additionally, he is a member of the Justice Institute of BC Community Social Justice Department Public Advisory Committee.
